Wherever you look, there are amazing people who shine confidence.
Think of someone you admire, someone who is confident, enigmatic and revered. Think of how they act, watch them in action; how they talk, what mannerisms do they have?
How do they enter a room?
How do they hold their head?
Look at the body posture, the way they stand and interact with others.
Now start to model them.
My ancestors go back to the 10th Century, so were warriors. I always kept this in mind whenever I had a lack of confidence and wore their way of acting, thinking…no fear, only succeeding. This made me look at things differently, feel stronger and act confident.
Who will you wear for a week?
This is a fun exercise, which shows you that by changing the way you believe and act can have a huge impact on how others see you. So try on the role of someone amazing and have fun with your imagination.
In finding your model, look also at the similarities in each of the people you think about. Their values, their beliefs; what they are passionate about.
You see, confidence is not just a matter of appearance, it is the result of living your values and believing in and loving who you are. In order to be able to do this, you must first define who YOU are; as a unique, energetic, limitless being.
Those who exude confidence believe in themselves because:
They know who they are
They have their focus firmly on their desires
They have definiteness of purpose
They have the drive and determination to succeed because they believe in themselves
They have passion for living a life they love
All these qualities are within YOU!
