Let’s cover the thorny subject of depression. Just like all other so called medical conditions, many people move into depression because they are ‘told’ they are depressed and they allow themselves to not only believe it but to be swept up in the conditioning of the standard medical profession.
Believe me; I know all about this, having been labelled with post natal depression after the birth of my 4 children. It brought me to the brink of suicide through my abusive marriage and later, fighting every day not to crumble while bringing, my four children up on my own. Yet the doctors could never convince me I was suffering this condition because I would not believe it. It was a process of finding a solution, which of course lead me to eventually creating my highly successful program.
This does not diminish those who are living in their darkest hour presently and those who don’t understand what it is they are going through.
What is the general description of depression?
It is reported that depression affects one in ten people. Someone with depression will experience intense feelings of anxiety, hopelessness and helplessness, and may feel suicidal. Depression is thought to happen suddenly as a result of physical illness or experiences dating back to childhood, through unemployment, family problems or other life-changing events. Doctors recognise symptoms associate with depression, such as:
- Tiredness and loss of energy.
- Sadness that doesn’t go away.
- Loss of self-confidence and self-esteem.
- Avoiding other people, sometimes even your close friends.
- Feelings of helplessness and hopelessness.
- Finding it hard to function at work/college/school.
- Loss of appetite.
- Loss of sex drive and/or sexual problems.
What is more worrying is the following statistics from a report by ‘The Be Mindful’ organisation, it states:
‘The number of prescriptions made each year for antidepressants in England has doubled in a decade, reaching 36 million in 2008. The Be Mindful report found that three-quarters (75%) of GPs have prescribed medication to people with long term depression believing another treatment would have been more appropriate.’
Yet a more encouraging statistic showed the following:
‘A large majority (72%) of GPs believe meditation would help their patients who have mental health problems while nearly all (93%) think there should be greater availability of other effective treatments for recurrent depression, in addition to medication.’
It was through my evolvement that it became clear; all these medical conditions were just ‘labels of conditioning’ and another way to keep individuals in fear and so control them.
Fundamentally it comes down to your individual beliefs about yourself. The causes of depression come from being put through social and generational conditioning, through being controlled by others who are themselves holding limiting beliefs and a lack of self worth, who can only justify their existence by controlling others.
Moving out of depression begins with finding yourself, defining who you are and most importantly loving who you are. You are not just the physical body you see in the mirror, you exist through energy and energy is having a life experience through the physical body. When you learn to pick up the conversation with energy, you begin to understand the frequency you resonate out and learn where you are holding resistance. You see all illness; in any form is a physical manifestation of resistance in the body. It is making you aware you are not allowing your energy to work because when energy stays in high frequency the body stays in pure and natural health.
How do you cure depression without drugs?
Depression is a label and you are so much more than a label, you have all the capability to create the life of your desires, it all starts with belief. When you learn to move your focus off negative mind chatter and focus only on the creation of your desires, you are automatically raising your frequency.
It starts with small steps, when happiness seems too big a leap from where you are, just look to hope. This is a step in the right direction and little by little you will raise your frequency and it is part of Universal laws that ‘what is like unto itself is drawn’, so therefore you will attract experiences and opportunities on the higher frequency also.
Some of my biggest steps forward were when I realised I was in control of my life, that I had the power to create everything coming to me. Knowing no one can ever control you, unless you let them, this is an amazing confidence booster; it all starts with belief in YOU.
