How Stress Symptoms Give Health and Safety Nightmares at Work

Did you know that as far back as 2006 the Health and Safety Executive survey showed, one in six working people in the UK reported that their job was very or extremely stressful? Today, work-related stress is one of the biggest causes of sick leave.

What is Stress?

The workplace is generally a stimulating environment; it can also become a pressurized environment. There is a difference however between pressure and stress. Pressure can be an essential part of a job, which can be a positive and a motivating factor, helping you to perform better. Stress develops when this pressure gets too much.

The Dictionary definition of stress is ‘It refers to the consequence of the failure of an organism — human or other animal — to respond adequately to mental, emotional, or physical demands, whether actual or imagined’.

How does stress show up?

Work-related stress can manifest as both physical and emotional health problems*. It can be seen by such symptoms as:

  • Headaches
  • Neck ache/Back ache
  • Overwhelming tiredness along with sleep problems
  • Stomach problems
  • Elevated heart rate
  • Increased sweating
  • Problems with vision

When stress is allowed to take hold it can develop into anxiety and then depression. This can show up as an inability to cope, lack of concentration or lack of motivation.

So, is there an answer to curing stress from the work place?

Absolutely! And the key is in the word above, that word is ‘lack’. You see all the causes and symptoms of stress all come from low frequency, which is where all ‘lack’ resides. Your body works on an ‘emotional scale’ where, when you are in low energy, you will feel anxious, stressed or can even move to depression. When you are in high energy, you feel creative, motivated, empowered and happy. It is the body’s frequency that is the energetic medium which energy communicates through your body.

What has frequency to do with stress?

Everything! We live in an energetic Universe and our bodies function through energy. Our cells take their signal from our beliefs; transmit this throughout the body, which determines the frequency at which the body resonates.

Therefore it can be equated that when you begin to experience lethargy, coping problems or fear, your frequency has lowered to the level of stress, which comes in around 75Hz. To give you a comparison, your body in natural health will resonate at between 78Hz and 83Hz.

What this also indicates is that your beliefs have moved into ‘lack’. Low frequency is where lack of self esteem, lack of self worth or lack of confidence can be seen and these are the route cause for any and all forms of stress.

Moving away from stress

By understanding and working with your frequency, recognising when it lowers and being able to take the actions required to move into higher frequency, then stress and its causes can be completely eliminated.

Just taking the action of making your superiors aware that you are finding deadlines or workload stressful is not enough and will not bring a solution. It is in understanding that all stress comes from low self worth and a lack of confidence and here is where the real work must be done. Here are some tips to get this process started.

  • Working on ‘you’ means to start listening within and to stop reacting to what others might say about you.
  • We are in these life experiences to live our life with passion and purpose.
  • Begin to define who you really are
  • What are your desires?
  • How do you see the life you would love to live?
  • Look at what initially made you unconfident; ask yourself ‘Why have I let this control me?’
  • Begin to realise that what you hold as beliefs are bringing the same frequency into your experiences

This process is a journey and it will take courage, focus and persistence to let go of reacting to people and situations and begin ‘consciously creating’ your new confident, stress free experiences. My Path of the Peaceful Warrior Programme has all the processes in place to allow you to do this.
