The question of a million dollars, makes me think of a tale I heard, about a young preacher named Dr Gunsaulus, who after wishing and wanting a million dollars to create an educational, vocational institute for young people for over two years; finally took matters into his own hands.

How did he do this? By setting a goal to have the money by the end of the following week!

 This was a definite decision with a specific timeframe, he wasn’t concerned with the ‘how’ it would happen, just the resolution that it HAD to happen and to this end he wrote a sermon detailing all that he would use the money for and told the local press he would be reading a sermon on ‘what I would do if I had a million dollars’.

From the time Dr Gunsaulus decided on the definite decision, it took just 36 hours for that million dollars to be put in his hands!

Provided by a Phillip.D.Armour, this money was used to found the ‘Armour Institute of Technology’.

So what caused this money to manifest so quickly once the preacher made his definite decision?…he set himself a goal! 

Goals are anything that you want to attain or focus on achieving.  There are no goals that are too insignificant or too large; this is the beauty of the process.  The key to achieving what you want is to set goals that you really want in ways that allow you to work towards them, to trust in the process.

In the creation of an area of change, it is important that the goals are specific, even more important that they are WRITTEN down. To achieve outstanding goals they must be delivered with the power of a definite purpose AND a definite plan. If these are then written down and read every day you are convincing the sub conscious mind that these future events are actually real!
